Moe Football Netball Club 2025 Player Announcement

Myles Poholke

The Moe Football Club are thrilled to announce that Myles Poholke has committed to join our Football Program for the 2025 season and we enthusiastically welcome Myles to our club.

Having grown-up playing football on the Mornington Peninsula, Myles played Under 18 football with the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup before being drafted to the Adelaide Football Club at Pick 44 in the 2016 National Draft. After his AFL debut in 2018, Myles played 16 games for Adelaide in the AFL where he played predominantly as a forward kicking 21 goals before returning to play with his brother Leigh at the Sorrento Football Netball Club in 2021.

At 186cm, Myles is a powerful midfielder / forward and endurance runner who can play and impact in multiple positions on the ground. Since 2021, Myles has played 71 games for the senior team at Sorrento, has kicked 98 goals and been named best on ground in 36 of these appearances.

With a passion for development of junior players, Myles was also the coach of Sorrento’s Under 19 team for the 2024 season.
In somewhat of a homecoming, Myles spent his early years growing-up in Moe before moving to the Mornington Peninsula and retains strong ties to the area with his father Tracey still residing in Tanjil South.

The younger brother of recently appointed coach Leigh, we look forward to seeing Myles playing in our Maroon and Blue jumper in 2025.
