Shaun Curtis 100 Senior Club Games Round 18

20 Aug by Lis Keilty

MUCH-LOVED Moe footballer Shaun Curtis plays his 100th game on Saturday.

Shaun is currently vice-captain of the reserves, where he has played as a key forward across many seasons. Shaun has contributed greatly to the life and times of the Lions, overseeing the social scene and footy trip fines. In his younger days, he also used his photography skills to capture many great club moments and action shots, much appreciated by players and parents. Shaun’s family history with the club extends to his brother Jamie, also a previous reserves captain, and dad Russ, one of the club’s most passionate supporters. Many great nights have been spent in Russ’ shed, which is virtually a Moe Football-Netball Club Museum. Like many key forwards, he has an uncanny ability to pull off incredible shots, while at the same time, making near-certainties appear impossible.
